HI, I’M DR LEXI FRYDENBERG
I’m a paediatrician and educator who is passionate about children’s health, development and wellbeing. I aim to support, empower and inspire families to better understand their child’s medical and developmental issues so they know when and where to seek help.
I have been working in paediatrics for 20+ years. Currently I’m based at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and at Victorian Children’s Clinic, a large multidisciplinary private paediatric practice which I co-founded in 2013.
I co-host and co-produce the Kids Health Information Podcast for the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and I regularly write articles and blog posts on parenting websites.
My expertise, empathy and approachability enable me to clearly and compassionately communicate vital health messages to the public. That’s why I’m a guest on a number of podcasts and radio shows discussing common child health issues or hot topics that come up in the news. I’m also regularly invited to speak at conferences, schools and parenting events.
I’m also a mum of three kids, so I understand the challenges of modern parenting all too well.
